We all love a romantic holiday, a romantic getaway. And where’s that perfect place on holiday to enjoy a kiss ?

We’re thinking - a beautiful Caribbean sunset, lounging on the deck chairs, a champagne in hand and the person you love beside you. Perfect moment for that kiss, and it doesn’t get any better than that.

Talk about creative excuses for wriggling out of the drink driving charge.

17-year-old Gianna Vigliotta, a teenager from New York, came up with the creative excuse after she w as pulled over for failing to maintain her lane. Police found her to be drunk and the breathalyzer determined her blood-alcohol level to be nearly twice the legal limit. Yet the teen insisted she had not had a drink all night.

If you love someone, you should let them know. And there’s no better way than to send them some flowers. It could be the boy or girl that you like, even your boyfriend or girlfriend. A husband, wife, father, mother. Anyone. Send them some flowers. It could be some beautiful wildflowers that you pass by as you’re walking today, fresh roses or tulips from the florist at the corner, even an expensive bouquet from that flashy online florist. How much it costs doesn’t matter, cos it’s the thought that counts.

Well I’m fourteen now but I was thirteen when I had my first kiss. I had just started going out with the guy I had a crush on for soooooo long…Bryce Levitt. He was the love of my life, I know that may sound and callow me being so young and claiming that, but then he was.

Anyhow he and I had gone to the movies held hands,
hugged, cuddled, but not kissed. Everyone was
constantly telling us to, and believe me I really
really wanted to. I always dreamt of him kissing me in
the moon light. He was so strong, tall, warm, and
muscular.

So one day we after school we (both of our families)
were at a tutoring place for who ever of you know
Kumon it was that place, his brother and my siblings
were there at the same time. I was waiting in my car,
and then I see him starting to come over, he said he
needed help with algebra, but I tried helping him and
he was clearly distracted.

After reading your stories on this website, I can’t help myself from telling you my story.

It all started at school. I knew this boy from school, and one day we were just sitting in the cafeteria and he just asked me, in front of our friends: will you go on a date with me? I couldn’t believe he had just said that, and I said yes.A week after that we had a date. It took me as much as a week to prepare myself: what could I wear? What kind of perfume would he like?

We had planned to go to the movies on a Saturday, but this theatre is in another city, so my mother wanted to meet him first. I asked him to come over to my house on Friday and watch a movie. So we did. He came over, and after meeting my mom and my little brother, we went upstairs to my room. We watched this movie, and after that, he asked me to come sit on his legs, and I did. It was a little uncomfortable, but I just put my arms around his neck.

My first kiss was….interesting. My crush came over my house to watch a movie with me (The movie was Supercross) and we were sitting on my couch. He had his arm around me and I was snuggled up close. He knew I had never kissed someone before because I had told him. Anyway, after a while my neck was killing me (It was a very uncomfortable position, but I felt so safe and warm, I didn’t want to move) but it got to the point where it hurt really bad. I went to lay on my back and he got up.

I thought, ‘He must not want me to do that..’ then out of nowhere he climbs on top of me and kisses me. I had always pictured in the back of my mind that my first kiss would be closed-mouth. It wasn’t. My mouth was though lol. Then I was trying to think about every movie I had ever seen where they made out, and all that thinking made me forget to kiss him. There was a lot of spit involved too. I mean I knew that there would be spit, but ew. LOL.

So says Simon de Bruxelles, in his Valentine’s 2008 column for UK’s Timesonline. To whit, love is all about the small things, and it doesn’t get more meaningful than a kiss, everyday. Perhaps it keeps you from getting angry at your partner. Perhaps it’s just a way to remind yourself of the love, and the romance that you share. And if nothing more, it’s a few seconds that you spend together, sharing a kiss.

The warning is out - those of the male gender had better start improving their kissing skills, for research has shown that that first kiss is all it takes for a woman to decide if she wants to hook up with him.

The study found that the women have developed kissing as an evolutionary tool to find the right father for their children, and that women often judge men exclusively on the quality of the first kiss that they share.

The study, which was based on a questionnaire answered byover a thousand student respondents, assessed their views on kissing, and found that women “placed more emphasis on a kiss and are more reliant on kissing as a mate assessment technique” than men.

Also, the researchers found that bad breath is also an important factor, which may be interpreted as a sign of health problems. Tongue contact and the exchange of saliva were found to help both sexes make subconscious assessments about each other.

Women’s breath can indicate hormone levels and fertility, while male saliva will have traces of the sex hormone testosterone. In long-term relationships, women considered kissing important throughout a relationship. The study also found that men placed less importance on kissing as the relationship progressed.
